We are a few days late with this, but as connoisseurs of 80s pop culture, the Mugwugs would be remiss if we didn't tip our hats and wish the "Iceman" godspeed on his next journey.
Here is a little-known, fun story: many years ago, a man sat down at Northwind Grille in downtown Brainerd, Minnesota, and ordered lunch. The server casually told him that he looked just like that actor, to which the man replied, "I hear that all the time."
When the man finished lunch, he left a $100 bill at the table and on the paper placement under his dishes, he wrote,
"Thanks for the great lunch. Love, Val Kilmer"
That tells you all you need to know about the man.
